How to Attain Your Goals For This Year Strategically and Smartly

Well, it is New Year 2013 already but have you planned what do you want to do in this year? May be you haven't or may be you have.
So, if you haven't as yet started streaming down your priorities then get started now. Let us understand what should be your topmost priorities.
Before we begin, think about the past year and your achievements. If you are an online business owner or a home business owner then you should make list of all the profits and losses made last year. This will help you get the idea of your requirements this year.
First you must list the goals that you have attained and those which you would like to see getting fulfilled this year.

Financial Goals:
How would you like to see your finances this year? Have you made any plans of making investments? If yes, then what type of investments do you think will be most beneficial? Are you planning to expand your business to boost income? How much percent boost are you expecting in your monthly income? You must enlist all these things and make a strategic plan for getting most out of this year. As a home business owner, it is essential for you to notice the most profitable ways to earn money. Make list of the all those businesses that helped you reap maximum benefits last year. Then you can go geographic, meaning try to shortlist clients from those countries that gave you most money. You can target such clients this year.

Now, to enlist the losses that occurred in the previous years. How much did you spend on your household expenses? How much did you spend on enjoyment? What were the other expenses? Did your expenses surpass your earning in any time of year? For example, you must have made decent amount of money but since, you were expanding a lot of it could have gone in buying office accessories, maintenance and for other reasons. At other times, may be your entire earnings have gone for somebody's hospital expenses. Make a note of all such expenses that occurred last year. This year you need to be prepared for any such events or any types of expenses. Budgeting should be a top priority.

Analyzing the exact percentage of income boost that occurred last year will give you a detailed idea of this year's income boost. For example, if your income last year doubled the income earned in the previous year then you must note that there was one hundred percent rise in your income. This implies that your income has a great potential of rising, therefore, you must shortlist your best source of income for the previous year. Your goal for this year should be growing your income by 200 percent.
You must then analyze your secondary sources of income. Which were the sources that provided assistance to your main source of income? Enlist them and analyze how you can put them to maximum use this year.

Emotional Goals:

Did you miss your loved ones in 2012? Did you miss hanging out with your best friends? Did you miss spending time with your family? If yes, then this year you have to fulfill your emotional goals. You may have thought of going on a family vacation but it may not have been possible for you last year. It is true that most people work tirelessly because they want to "buy happiness" for their loved ones. However, it is also true that your loved ones are really happy when you are sitting next to them watching a family movie. It is needless to say that you miss those moments as well. So, how can you get them back without losing momentum? Well, you need to plan this carefully this year. Are there any other priorities like marriage, taking care of your kids or grandparents? If yes, then you need to figure out which ones come first. Let this not be a decision from the heart, calculate the consequence for prioritizing a particular goal. Then organize your choices.

Career Goals:
What have you planned for this year? Are you ready for the next level? Do you think it is possible to get to that level this year? Is there any sub-ordinate career that you want to venture into? Is there any unfulfilled dream that you see fructifying this year? What exactly do you want from your life this year? Are you looking forward to start new businesses? If yes, is your answer to all these questions then you must rate the success attained last year. If you think that you scored well professionally then you can go for the next level this year. Of course, you can decide the level depending upon the "rate of success" attained in the previous year.

If the rate is above average then you can set high level goals this year. If you have a dream to fulfill then see whether you are perfectly prepared to make it a reality. Always check the necessary ingredients before you start making the recipe. At the end of it, you must meditate for sometime so that you can get tuned with your soul. Your soul will tell you exactly what you want from life this year.

I have some interesting goals myself. In order to achieve them, I need to do careful planning. Otherwise, I won't be able to fulfill them. However, I found a key to get the desired success in 2013.

Gandhi: The Movie

The craft of filmmaking is not usually about delivering a beautiful piece of art; not only about entertaining the audience but also about connecting them with the soul of the film. The essence lies in the makers ability to maintain the authenticity of the subject even as he mystifies the story. Richard attenborough''s "Gandhi" is an ideal example of such an artistic excellence. It was written by John Briley . The movie sketches the life of the Mahatma from his days at South Africa where he first laid the foundations of '' Satyagraha'' to his unmatched contribution in the freedom struggle of his motherland. The film highlights his various encounters with the British Rulers and efficiently puts forth his non - surfacial but strong will power.Mahatma Gandhi''s virtues such as tolerance and honesty are brought to light by emphasizing subtle incidents ; which took place in his life. Another remarkable aspect of the movie is the accuracy of the time period. Richard Attenborough chases the time from Gandhi’s younger days to his older days by showing gradual changes in the surroundings and in the gadgets such as cameras. The film is actually a glance through the window of present into the past where the onlooker is introduced to the divine qualities of a ordinary looking extraordinary man. This well tailored masterpiece easily teaches the audience the significance of self reliance and resilience through the voice of the Mahatma. The movie, reflects the thought, that even one man make a huge difference if he shows perseverance and inculcates humility.

Mahashivratri: Ravana in My Dreams Again -Good, Bad or Ugly? Part 2

But the man that I saw in my dream (first one) was neither of it. He was
tall, extremely fair, soft but firm skinned. He had a mustache but it
was well-trimmed. Yes, it was broad but not long. His brows were thick
but not ugly thick. In fact, he was handsome. He had strong built and
stout body.

Strong muscles and a scintillating aura. The aura that
reflected that this man was indeed extremely intelligent, well-versed
with knowledge and scriptures. The aura that spoke of his daredevil
attitude and administrative intelligence. He looked like a real king
nothing short of it.

He must have ruled all the three worlds with surity
of purpose and determination. He must have been an able king
irrespective of his ill-reputation regarding women. He was mighty and
cool. He had perfectly flat abs and no belly fat. His smile reflected
luster of Venus. Surely he had a strong taurus influence.

He spoke with utter calm and there was some divinity to it when he said I
need not worry of any type of harassment. He had command over his
language and didn't have any vanity. Vanity is something that defines
Ravana for every religious Hindu. He is the symbol of evil. He also
symbolises lust, pervertness and incessant cravings. He is the bad guy
for every woman.

For your reference, I would like to mention that I am a religious but
spiritual Hindu. I love my religion and I love all 33 crore gods that
it boasts of. I don't eat beef and never will. I respect cows and I
believe killing them once they become useless is a symbol of
ungratefulness.

I love lord Vishnu and I am a great fan of his avatar- Krishna. I
consider Lord Shiva as my celestial father and so complain to him when
things don't go my way. He indeed is a good father so he works on
complains on an immediate basis. Yes, even when I would say, make a
teacher remain absent today; he would fulfill my wish.   I love Bappa,
(lord ganesh) and you will find an article on him on my blog.

Even then, I didn't see anything bad in Ravana. He was not egoistical to me,
neither was he vain. He was sweet and helpful. He still worships lord
Shiva and that shows that he was genuine in his devotion. His Golden
Lanka was not a show-off like they say. He must have been a genuine
lover of art and luxury. He never berefted his people from their rights.

There is a mention of another temple of lord Shiva built by Ravana in
Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. It has a statue of Ravan nearby. You will find
the reference out here,
Ravana Wikipedia.

Kakinada also has a water body nearby. So, I think, my dream has too many
references. It is spooky and scary. I don't know why Ravana chose me to
tell this. As per him, he knows me. Nevertheless, I have no such memory.

My only plea is to consider the great Demon King to be more of King than a
demon. He was not a corrupt politician or a rapist. He respected his
wife Mandodari and never mistreated her. He also respected Sita 's
decision of not choosing him over Ram. He never forced her although he
made regular attempts to impress her. This has nothing to do with
"forcing". He was an intelligent scientist with many inventions to his
credit. He was a King and let us give him his due. Also for Lord Shiva
for whom he was an ardent devotee and nothing else.

Recent Update:

Last night, my father came back from the shiv temple yesterday. He handed over a template of 12 Jyotirlingas to me. He said that in the temple they had made imitations of 12 Jyotirlingas.

This actually spooked me out! As it means, that Ravana in my dreams was referring to the temple near my house. So, does he stay there? How bizarre can things get? Internet or Google has no answer on these things . Really, strange!

In the morning he had again come in my dreams. He was standing in the premises of the Shiv temple near my house. He was wearing a bhasma on his forehead. It was three strips of red having something in between.
